Greetings,
The Maryland Joint Child Support Council (MJCSC) is a non-profit organization of child support professionals from across Maryland. Our membership and governing board are made up of staff from the local child support offices, the central Child Support Administration, State’s Attorney’s offices, Sheriff’s offices, Clerk of the Court offices, Judiciary, and vendors who contract with these partners to perform child support related services.
The primary function of the MJCSC is to promote the sharing of ideas, best practices, and new initiatives that benefit the Maryland child support program. For 28 consecutive years, 1982 through 2009, MJCSC held an annual conference in Ocean City, MD at which child support professionals from all areas of the program gathered. After a six-year hiatus, MJCSC came back strong in 2016 hosting a great conference attended by over 250 child support professionals.
We are excited to keep the momentum going by hosting the 32nd MJCSC Training Conference October 21-23, 2019 at the Maritime Institute in Linthicum Heights, Md. The program committee is preparing two days of informative and motivating workshops that will help to increase every attendee’s knowledge and understanding of the child support program and child support policy.
We will be kicking things off with lunch on Monday, October 21st at 12:00 pm followed by programming. The President’s Reception will take place on Monday, October 21st at 6:00pm. I hope to see you there.
